When Stephanie and Jason first got in touch with us about their upcoming Kent Life wedding plans, we knew from the initial email that their day was going to be one to remember. Promises of an intimate ceremony in a little pink chapel and a fun, informal day were more than enough to swing it for us! We found ourselves crossing our fingers and hoping that they’d love us and our work enough to book. When they did it felt like we were counting down the days with them until the wedding finally rolled around. We’ve been waiting for this one all year!
At the time, we’d not come across a Kent life wedding before. After having a quick google though we could absolutely see why they’d chosen to host their Autumn farm wedding celebration there. It was perfect!
You’ll probably remember these guys from their engagement shoot a while back. (We blogged it recently.) Meeting them both that evening was all the confirmation we needed that their day was going to be bags of fun. There’s something extra special about Steph and Jason. They just click. They bounce off of one another and you can’t help but smile when you’re in their company. Even in the most tense or nerve wracking of moments they’ll be beaming. I know we say it often, but it was such a pleasure working with these guys. I’ll be honest, we’re both a little sad that it’s all over!
From blue eggs in the morning to a swoon worthy first look and that little pink chapel. The day flowed seamlessly. The personal touches, photographs and unique ideas made their day truly one of a kind. I think it’s fair to say it was an utter reflection of them and their life together. Their nearest and dearest were absolute superstars too and so up for everything. Welcoming, inviting and not scared to throw a shape or two on the dance floor. Photographers (and videographers) will know what a massive difference it makes when everyone’s on board.
We can’t thank Steph, Jason and everyone who was involved in the day enough. Thank you for letting us play a small part in your happy ever after. We had a whale of a time at Kent life with you all and hope that this little snapshot of your day makes you smile.
It was lovely as always too, to work alongside wedding film maker Gione da Silva. You’ll spot him a bit further down, on the dance floor giving photography a go.
Please feel free to leave your comments for us or S&J at the end of this post, or of course on the original Facebook post. You can also keep up with us and our work over on social media.
We do our best to give credit where it’s due, so we kindly ask that you do the same and do not screenshot images. If you were a supplier involved in the day and your details are not listed below, please feel free to pop us an email and we’d be happy to add you to the list.
