Morden Hall is a hidden gem! We had not photographed a Morden Hall wedding before Gizem & Vasilis enquired with us. This may be because we tend to avoid London weddings where possible. As anyone who has photographed a wedding in London will know, this is because they can be so, so stressful! Traffic into and out of London is a constant worry. As it the lack of parking. The additional hurdle of transporting equipment safely and efficiently is always on your mind.
However, tucked away in South West London is Morden Hall, for which we made a rare exception. Situated in Morden Park, Morden hall is an exclusive use wedding venue that would not seem out of place in the middle of the countryside!
It’s light, spacious, elegant and romantic. The perfect setting for a central, sophisticated London wedding with little of the inconvenience that London weddings typically offer. You can see why we made an exception for such a place!
We are so very pleased that we did as we had a wonderful day shooting this fantastic wedding. Even better is that it was alongside our good friends Unique Visuals wedding films.
A romantic ceremony was shortly followed by an intimate reception. An emotional set of speeches preceded a very energetic evening celebration. It is not often that you see a wedding crowd going wild for belly dancing! Nor is is often that you see belly dancing at all! It was brilliant and certainly entertained the crowd.
Below is a very small snapshot of how the day unfolded. We hope you enjoy!
