Over the weekend we had the pleasure of finally shooting a real wedding at the Old Parish Rooms in Essex. This is a wedding venue in Essex that we’ve been aware of for a number of years now, but one that we’ve never actually worked at. It’s one of the few Essex wedding venues that we’d not worked at actually!
We are however very familiar with the Old Parish rooms due to seeing lots of events, such as wedding fairs and styled shoots being hosted there. It’s a stunning, unique place so we were really looking forward to Sarah and Lee’s wedding.
Wedding at The Old Parish Rooms, Essex
Although it turned out to be a bit of a blustery weekend, this didn’t prove to be a problem at all. Aside from a fascinator or two trying to make an escape! If anything, it may have helped the confetti fly a little better! Everyone was in high spirits and the sun shone. It was a fantastic way to kick off an exciting 2019 wedding season.
Sarah and Lee were wonderful to work with. So lovely and relaxed. Their main focus was ensuring that everyone had a great time and they wanted to spend as much time as possible with their loved one’s just enjoying their company and celebrating being married, finally, after many years spent side by side.
It was a real joy having been their to witness their marriage and here’s one quick teaser from the day whilst we work on the full set.

Be excellent to each other
We believe in supporting other small businesses. One of the ways we do this is by making sure other suppliers are credited for their work. In order to do this, we rely on our couples sharing supplier information with us. We ask all of our couples to provide us with the details of any other businesses they’ve worked with whilst planning their wedding, so we can ensure everyone is properly credited. Using the supplier information provided for us, we create the credits list that you’ll find below. If you find that your details are missing, or are incorrect, please get in touch and we will amend accordingly. Our email address is [email protected] if you need it.
In return, we kindly ask that you extend the same courtesy to us. We are very happy to share our photographs, but please make sure they are tagged and credited when used. Our social media details can be found above. The files used in this blog are small, web sized, low resolution files so please do not screenshot, save and re-upload as the quality will be poor.
