This year we’ve been super lucky. Perhaps a little more so than usual. Why? Because we’ve had the opportunity to shoot so many weddings that were referrals from previous couples of ours. Emma & Will’s Pembroke Lodge wedding just so happens to be one of those weddings! You may remember seeing Steph & Jason’s wedding on our blog previously- well we bumped into those guys here too! And true to form, and just as we’d hoped, Emma & Will were just as lovely, just as fun to work with and they put on a heck of a wedding too! Never mind the blazing heat that near sizzled us all to piles of ash during the drinks reception, everything was perfect.
I had a wonderful morning with the ladies, whilst Sam had a quite a morning with the guys too. You’ll see below that whilst it was full steam ahead with hair and make up with Emma and her girls, it was a slightly more chilled affair over with Will and crew. I’m reliably informed that Sam won at Mario Kart, a small detail I may have otherwise overlooked, except Sam has probably mentioned it every single day since. Never mind!
Pembroke Lodge, a photographers dream
What followed for Emma & Will was a fantastic day with a fantastic atmosphere. In spite of the heat everyone was ready and willing to have a great time and it really showed in the full gallery. The views stretching as far as the eye can see pull you in and keep you hooked. There’s so much beauty to see, so much detail. It’s easy to understand how a couple would fall in love with the place when visiting. There were so many laughs and smiles when we were going through the photos afterwards that it was so difficult to not keep sharing pictures from the day! I have a new favourite every time I look at the pictures. I hope the same is true for Emma & Will in the years to come.

I wont waffle on, i’ve a habit of doing that. Instead, i’ll throw you in feet first and let you experience the day through our eyes- or at least around 10% of it! Here’s a summary of the most magical of days, albeit a brief one. We hope you enjoy!

“When looking at wedding photographers we didn’t even know where to begin. We just knew we didn’t want something completely superficial and staged and wanted to make sure we found a couple of genuine photographers. Wow did we succeed in that! Sam and Louise photographed a friend’s wedding and as soon as we saw the photos we knew we had to book them for our special day. Sam and Louise are the most wonderful pair- professional, calming, perfect at their job and so fun to be around. Through their stunning photos, they captured absolutely every personality and emotion down to secret smiles and not so subtle tears and the mischievous goings on of little ones. Will and I could not be happier with the photos we got back and we will enjoy reflecting on our magical day for many years to come. All our friends and family have commented saying they’re the best selection of photographs they’ve ever seen. Thanks Sam and Louise you were amazing! Emma and Will xx”
